Easter project

Well done to those of you who have already been thinking about your mini project. This is what I would like you to do over the holidays:

Collect a selection of chocolate wrappers to look at the different shapes, colours, names and writing on the different packaging. Stick them into your book and label the different features that interest you.

Next you need to sketch some designs for your own chocolate wrapper, think about the shape, name and colours that look the best. If you would like to collect other peoples ideas to help you, carry out a simple survey and put your information into a tally chart or frequency table (We have done lots of these in school).

Last of all you may want to make a prototype (a 3D example) of your chocolate packaging.

Good luck and be creative, I will be marking your projects according to how much work and effort you put in!

    How many wrappers do we have to collect for the chocolate project?

    You can collect as many as you wish Lucy, use a sample to stick into your book, try to choose different types of wrappers to get lots of varied ideas for your own design. This is a good excuse to eat lots of chocolate!

    You are welcome Elin, you deserve it after working so hard with your handwriting. I hope you are feeling better and that your filling settles in soon, meanwhile it's a good excuse for Dad to eat all the chocolate!

    Hello mrs price my willow tree is growing a lot the roots are getting quite big I chose option three to put it in a jar full of water now the willow is attracting the sun so it isn't shining through my window all the time. Have a nice Easter.
